2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and operate the Service: Power AI agent interactions, process messages, generate files, execute scheduled tasks, manage projects, and maintain agent memory and context.

Manage billing and subscriptions: Process payments via Stripe, generate invoices, manage energy and diamond balances, and prevent fraud.

Improve the Service: Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve features, performance, reliability, and user experience. We do not use your individual content to train third-party AI models.

Secure the platform: Detect and prevent unauthorized access, abuse, fraud, and security threats. Enforce our Terms of Use and acceptable use policies.

Communicate with you: Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, billing receipts), service announcements, and product updates. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

Provide customer support: Respond to your inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and resolve disputes.

3. AI Processing and Third-Party Models

3.1 How Agent Processing Works

When you interact with an AI agent, your messages and relevant context (project data, files, agent memory) are sent to third-party large language model (LLM) providers via API for processing. Currently, TaskVille routes AI requests through OpenRouter, which connects to models from providers including Google (Gemini), OpenAI, DeepSeek, and others.

3.2 What Is Sent to LLM Providers

Your message text and relevant conversation history.

Agent system prompts (role, personality, tools).

Relevant project context, file contents, and agent memory as needed to fulfill your request.

3.3 Data Handling by LLM Providers

We use LLM providers via their API services, which generally do not retain or use input/output data for model training. However, each provider's data handling practices are governed by their own privacy policies and terms of service. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of OpenRouter and the underlying model providers.

4. Third-Party Services and Integrations

4.1 Service Providers

We share data with third-party service providers as necessary to operate the Service:

Stripe, Inc.: Payment processing. Stripe handles all card data per their PCI DSS-compliant privacy policy.

Bubble.io: Frontend hosting and application database.

Supabase: Persistent agent memory, semantic embeddings (pgvector), and document storage.

n8n: Workflow orchestration and backend automation.

OpenRouter: LLM API routing for AI agent processing.

Composio: MCP tool integrations and external service connections.

4.2 User-Connected Integrations

When you connect third-party services through MCP integrations (e.g., Gmail, Google Calendar, Instagram, Slack, HubSpot), your agents may access and interact with those services on your behalf. The data exchanged with these services is governed by your sharing settings and the third-party provider's terms and privacy policies. TaskVille acts as an intermediary and does not store credentials for connected services beyond what is required for the active connection.

4.3 Legal and Compliance

We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a legal claim.

5. Data Retention

Account data: Retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter, or as required by law for billing, tax, and legal compliance purposes.

Conversation and agent memory: Retained while your account is active. Conversation history and semantic embeddings are deleted when you delete the associated project or close your account.

Files and documents: Retained while your account is active. You may delete individual files at any time. All files are deleted upon account closure.

Billing records: Retained as required by applicable tax and financial record-keeping laws.

Log data: Retained for a limited period for security and debugging purposes.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers.

Least-privilege access controls for internal systems and databases.

Routine backups and disaster recovery procedures.

Privacy rules at the data layer ensuring users can only access their own records.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it to hello@taskville.co.
